The 2000 Santa's Helpers
Toy Drive Campaign provided Christmas to over 50,000 children
throughout the Metroplex.
Some of
the over 40 organizations that distribute the toys to less
fortunate children, ages infant through teen are:
Washington
Street Mission, The Family Place, Dallas Life Foundation,
Genesis Shelter, San Miguel Lutheran Outreach Program, the
Dallas County Community Action Centers (South Dallas, NE
Dallas, Pleasant Grove, Sand Branch, West Dallas and Oak
Cliff,) City of Fort Worth Cowboy Santa Program, the Denton
County Toy Store, Community Lifeline Center and Information
& Referral of Collin County, the Terrell State Hospital,
Child Protective Services, Parkland Hospital, Children's
Medical Center, Cook's Children Medical Center, John Peter
Smith Hospital, the West Dallas Multipurpose Center, Cummings
Recreation Center, Martin Luther King , Jr. Community Center,
Mission Arlington, Metrocrest Social Services, Grand Prairie
United Charities, Kleberg/Riley Community Center, Field
Recreation Center and Irving Cares.
